We all have friends. However, true friends; BFFs, someone you can give up everything for,is keep disappearing.

Then, who is your friend?

    In U.S.A, there is a legendary sitcom called 'friends'. It is a sitcom, a starter for every cliches and trend after the broadcast. 'Friends' is a story about 6 friends : Monica who is obsessed with cleaning, Phoebe who is weird, Rachel who is lovely, Ross who is keep divorcing, Joey who is flirt, and Chandler who is practical and has a sense of humor.

  They fight, keep secrets, break up sometimes. They ignore,  hate, and make fun of one another. However, they encourage, help, and support without any condition. They feel lonely without each other, they fill others' flaws, they give love and admiration. They are each others' life's companion.

   'Friends' is a sitcom that gives inspiration and both brings the memory from past. They are similar thing to '무한도전' in Korea. The sitcom was a cultural breakthrough. Many people still makes humor with the scenes from friends, and gives 'secret' signals with each other. In short, 'friends' is an essential media to adapt in America culture and mood. 

   Friends is a hilling sitcom, because every each episode, we can see the friends getting more friendly to each other, and understanding each other. We can see them being irreplacable to each other. 

  Do you have any irreplacable friend? Unfortunately, these days, many people are losing their friends as the world becomes so cold and bleak; every moment is comeptition. You should step on someone else; even if that is your one and only friend, to succeed. We so betray them, lie, gossip; who could have been the rescuer for you in the hardship. There is even a quote like ' Don't show your great parts; never. Especially to your friends.' What had made our life, our world so desolate? What is our meaning of our life if we have noone to accompany at our long trip? Maybe, this was prior than anything like humor or actors the sitcom's allure, the real authentic hope inside contemporary people.

   What do you think a true friend is ? Do you think if it is a true friend, you should never lie and always be truthful? In my case, I believe a true friend is someone that you can lie, but don't want to. Also in the friend's perspective, the lie might be frustrated, but if it is true friend, he or she understands the situation and ignore it even if they know something isn't truth. 

    Do you have anyone you can just suddenly think of when somebody asks you who is your friend? Never lose that person. Try your best to don't lose somenone special in your life. However, don't just spend your whole life for your friend; balance is something most important in relationship! One day, we will all find the true friend that we don't have to work hard on balancing. 

"It's like all of my life, everyone has always told me, 'You're a shoe.' And then today i just stopped and i said, ' whay if i don't want to be a shoe? what if i want to be a purse, you know? Or a hat?"
